Thurston Energy is currently partnered with two Thurston-County based lending institutions—O Bee Credit Union and Generations Credit Union—to provide Thurston County homeowners with Green Improvement Loans. These special-rate loans can be applied to many different upgrade technologies, from new appliances to furnaces to solar energy systems.
Generations Credit Union now offers a quick home investment loan, and in an effort to protect our environment, provides a rate discount for loans used to finance energy efficient and other “green” home improvements.

TwinStar members who open a ChoiceLine Home Equity Line of Credit to fund home improvements from their home energy evaluation will receive a refund of the energy evaluation fees. The energy evaluation must be conducted before November 30, 2011 to receive the refund. Simply bring your HomePLUS invoice to your TwinStar loan officer at the time of loan approval to receive your refund.
