O Bee Credit Union has been an important part of the Thurston County community since 1955, serving initially the Olympia Brewing Company employees and their families. While we have expanded our membership and evolved into one of the most modern financial institutions in the country, we have always maintained our founding purpose: to provide caring, helpful service to our members and our neighbors in the community.
We have four branch locations to serve you in Thurston County. Tumwater, Lacey, Tenino and our newest branch, which will be opening January 2012 on Olympia’s West Side at the corner of Harrison and Cooper Point Rd.
O Bee Credit Union is a national award winning recipient of a Dora Maxwell Award for our involvement in projects and activities that have a social impact in our community as well as the Desjardin Youth Financial Literacy Award for our work in the community with financial literacy. Each year we award $15,000 in scholarships to our members and local high schools, and our unique Skip a Pay program designates a portion of its proceeds to local charities in our area twice a year.
