Thurston Energy has created a network of third-party qualified contractors and vendors that provide energy efficient building systems and equipment.  Contractors in our network install insulation, HVAC systems, duct sealing and insulation, doors, windows, air sealing and more. We can issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs) on your behalf to make hiring a contractor quick and easy.

The contractors on our network go through a rigorous and ongoing vetting process based on a number of criteria, including their business’ legal status, their company’s customer service reputation and their adoption of energy efficiency services as a sustainable business model. We pre-screen each contractor in our network, and extensively interview them to make sure they are a good fit for our program. Once a contractor is accepted into our program, we place them on a trial period to see if the services they provide to our customers meet our standards. We also keep continual tabs on our contractors to make sure they are providing the best possible service to our community.
